Emma Burton
Textile and costume designer Emma Burton set up her own label in 2003. Using her eye for colour and pattern, Emma juxtaposes her own exclusive range of digitally printed silks along with embellished, printed and vintage fabrics to create quirky and unusual combinations. Some bags are hand beaded and decorated with hand painted silk flowers whilst others are adorned with handmade bows and hearts.
Emma graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2001 where she gained an MA in constructed textiles after completing a fashion degree at Northumbria University. She has worked for Alexander McQueen and Deborah Milner and her textile designs have been sold to Alberta Ferretti and DKNY.
